Independent Tire & Auto Inc. is not an ordinary tire and auto repair facility. We treat our customers like family. We are about service before, during and after the sale. We have been offering products and repair services since 1999, and our founder, Mary Sullivan, has been in the business for over 30 years!

Mary began her career working at Schlott Tire.  She gained 17 years of invaluable automotive industry experience during her time at Schlott.  Mary moved from there to start Independent Tire & Auto, Inc.  After five years of constant growth and popularity, Independent Tire & Auto Inc. moved to a larger facility in North Andover (Next to the Lawrence Airport). From this location Mary and her team provide tires and auto services and repairs to everyone in Andover and North Andover.

The owner Mary has been in the tire business for thirty years. She began her career at W.A. Schlott Tire in Lawrence, MA. She started as a file clerk in high school and worked her way up to store manager. She ended up leaving because it was sold to a chain and she did not like the way the she was being treated and the way the customers were being treated. Mary began Independent Tire & Auto on September 1, 1999 and three months later Schlott Tire closed.

The owner of Independent Tire & Auto, Inc has been published in the Tire Review magazine on several ocacasions. She has won the "Women in Business" award, given by the Lawrence YWCA in 2010. She is a supporter of the Lawrence Little League, The Lazarus House, and the YWCA. She is always accepting donations on behalf of the YWCA at her facility in North Andover. . She is also collecting food donations for the homeless and less fortunate..
